Following the negligence of medical personnel at the general hospital in Ogwashi Uku, the administrative headquarter of Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta state.
The community appealed to the Governor Of Delta State and The Commissioner for Health in Delta State to please intervene on behalf of Ogwashi-Ukwu General Hospital.
According to the statement, things at the Hospital is nothing to write home about.
Speaking on unfriendly attitude of the staff in the hospital to the patients which is very unprofessional.
We are appealing to the Governor of Delta state Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori to uses his good office to help save our souls because that’s the major hospital serving the entire Aniocha South Local Government Area Of Delta
Hospital is supposed to be a place of care for the sick but a situation whereby patients and their loved ones go through inhumane treatment in order to get care.
It is a thing to be questioned and the entire community frowned over it, we play politics and politics should not be played in the health system, Ogwashi Uku people, appealed.
The community further appealed to BEDC to look into the light issue which is worrisome to the people living in the community, adding that it will interest you to note that Ogwashi-Uku is host community to Delta state Polytechnic.
The community is facing light challenge, calling on BEDC to come to their aid and restore light in community.
