The State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the voluntary resignation of Dame Patience Nkem Okwuofu as Chairman of the Delta State Civil Service Commission.
The Governor, in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu, acknowledged the reforms Dame Okwuofu brought to the state civil service, which helped to positively transform the service.
Oborevwori wished her well in her future endeavors.
Meanwhile, the Governor had approved the appointment of Mr Anthony Ofoni as Special Adviser.
The date for his swearing in will be announced in due course.
