The Chairman / CEO Mayor Mega Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited Asaba, and the Ezeobiekunie Iteego 1 of Aguluezechukwu, Mr Ichie Ifeanyi Sunday Ezeakunne has revealed his reasons of extending hands of fellowship to people.
The Chairman stated this during an interview with The Forward News Media in Asaba said he derived joy in helping people and his motive in life is to impact in human capital development because he want to see people progressing in life.
He said,” I have tasted poverty, stagnancy, suffering, saying those in the street is not that they can’t work, but they don’t have who to help them and I understood that nobody is useless, everybody is important “.
The Chairman further explained that people around you are your God and savior depending on how you manage them, don’t kill people because of mistakes they do, try to encourage them.
Those that are suffering are not happy, give them hope, it is not easy and be patient with people, he said those that be abandoned are people he likely pick to help, Ezeakunne stated
According to him, he has experienced hardship and hard time in life when he was coming up to where he his now. Speaking on his journey from the family of eight children though two are no more, life was not easy to the family but he was determined to broke the yoke.
He said ” I moved from Anambra State to Lagos in where I ventured into building materials business and it comes to a stage where I lost my shop, God so kind I find favour in the side of an Indian man company in 2013, that deal on chemical, though the company really takes care of its workers “.
Mr Ezeakunne maintained that in his quest to have his dream comes through, he joined oil business and still connected to other businesses before he relocated to Asaba where he established his own oil and gas company, ” Mayor Mega Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited”.
He further disclosed that he likes helping people, he said, his motive is to help people and he want to impact in people’s life, saying very recently, he bought ten motorcycles and tricycle to empower people
In 2022 when Mayor Mega Oil and Gas began, it was not easy based on the situation of this country that facing issue of production, but for Mayor Mega Oil and Gas we are progressing. Business is for gain or lost but all the same we are doing well and we still maintain our standard, Ezeakunne stated.
The Chairman of Mayor Mega Oil and Gas emphasized that in five years time, Mayor Mega Oil and Gas will be at the top among oil and gas company in the country. According to him, just as the slogan of the company said” We Rise By Lifting Others”.
He however, he advised that we should not judge people the way we see them, try to help people, don’t see people to be stupid nor condemning them, he said he stand against injustice and fight for the masses.
Ezeakunne thank his wife for being supportive for his progress in life, noting that his wife, children are his top achievement in life.
