The National Youth Leader in Ughelli North, South and Udu Federal Constituency and also Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the governor of Delta State on youth development Chief Hope Ejiro has disclosed that he could have resigned if his Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori is not doing well. He said his agenda was to spread what the governor is doing across Delta State.
Chief Ejiro stated this when he received The Forward News Media team in Ughelli said he is very impressed in what the governor is doing in the state.
He explained that in Warri axis, there are a lot of projects going on and you will marvel for the flyovers the governor is doing and he has extended it to other parts of the state.
You can’t be preaching what is not working to people to believe, so Oborevwori have canvas for himself through his developmental strive to the state, adding that the most surprising part is that he attended to both the Indigenes and non Indigenes living in the state.
” The governor is not only concentrating on road projects but across other sectors for economic developments ,
I engaged the youths to know the effects of immoral behaviour, vandalisation of government properties and also give them orientation on the need to partake in government and also take them on moral behavior inline with what the governor is doing “.
He maintain that he has done series of empowerment particularly in the rural area which he said was in collaboration with the senator in his district.
We focus on youths and students and oblige them to engage in small scale business while they are still in school.
We also gave out one hundred POS machine and some cash to the youths and students in my jurisdiction to start up a little business that will not affect their study.
Chief Ejiro added that skill acquisition was provided for them ” we established our youths on barbing business, makeover, fish farming and other businesses”.
According to him, the governor two years in office have proven his kind of person that he means well to deltans. He has made Delta State a save place to live, he equipped the security agents and as well managing our resources very well.
We have seen his work and his administration has not borrowed a dime yet there are projects, constructions every where in the state and this have given him the opportunity for second tenure and it is sure, Chief Ejiro stated.
He further disclosed that, the entire PDP structure that moved to APC have opened more ways for Delta state to benefit massively from the federal government, noting that those in the party before they joined, they are all working together, saying nothing like old or new APC they are all one, Oborevwori is a unifying governor and he attend to every member equally.
Chief Ejiro advised anybody that will succeed him after his tenure as youth leader in his constituency to do what is good and make sure peace exists in the community.
